I’ve created a handy cut-out-and-display door or window notice. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Posted @withrepost • @wends_photography I popped to the Lakes this week to soak up some lovely autumnuss 🍂🍁 This is a VERY popular spot but sometimes you’ve just got to get your own version 😁📷 Although I was way too early and had to wait it out in the biting Northerly breeze for that sun to rise – brrr 🙄🌬️Glad I did though as the water smoothed out to get a beautiful #reflection

The decade-long tradition was first formally organised in 2009 and the Poppy Cab service has since helped veterans attend the commemorations to the war dead on Whitehall in the capital.
Today, veterans will be able to catch a black cab from a number of mainline train stations. The majority will be dropped off at Admiralty Arch by Trafalgar Square ahead of the service and parade.
Taxis volunteering to take part can be identified by a Poppy Cab logo placed in their windscreen.
Some will also be offering special pickups for groups or those with disabilities in need of collecting from home.
Each year, as Big Ben strikes 11am and marks the start of the two minutes’ silence, a long line of parked taxis forms on Westminster Bridge where they wait to collect veterans after the march.
Cabbies originally devised the facility when a group realised they could help veterans attend the event, as all London black cabs are wheelchair accessible.
